The Twelve Days of Christmas is Live!
17 days ago – Tue, Apr 02, 2024 at 11:20:40 AM

A sincere thank you to everyone who backed me on Found Worlds! Are you ready to take another ride with me? My Christmas children's book has launched here: http://tinyurl.com/2wv74ce2

A project 33 years in the making, I began this book when I was a young father of three, in a publishing world that didn't want to see an unknown artist with an unfinished product. It took me this long to arrive at a point where I could spend a year painting the drawings I completed over three decades ago. It's finished, and I couldn't be happier with it!

I have a whole Facebook page dedicated to showing you this story:https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61554399703465

Please look it over!

And meanwhile, there's still time to take advantage of my code to get 15% off everything in my store while this campaign runs: BACKER12

Have a great day!

Get your holidays covered for next year
4 months ago – Wed, Jan 03, 2024 at 03:15:12 PM

Hello everyone,

Thank you again for supporting my art book. I am excited to announce the upcoming launch of my latest project based on The Twelve Days of Christmas-- a project 33 years in the making!

This children's book is the most insane thing I've tackled in my career. It's full of whimsical anthropomorphic illustrations with a dash of holiday cheer, fantasy, and Where's Waldo thrown into the mix.

If you'd like to get next year's Christmas shopping done early, or are an individual with excellent taste, you can head over to:  The Twelve Days of Christmas to get notified when the project launches.

Metal Prints are shipping!
over 1 year ago – Wed, Dec 14, 2022 at 12:16:28 PM

I've received my allotment, and they look great. A couple of things I want to mention:

The first is bound to create extra work for me. I am getting the tracking numbers, but I don't believe you are. There was no place to enter emails in the shipping forms. If you are concerned, please email me at [email protected] and I'll figure it out. I am very pleased at the turnaround time and with the quality of the packaging. You should receive them within the next few days—just in time for the Holidays!

Secondly, I want to reiterate the instructions that will come with your print and add a thought or two of my own:

"Handle the prints carefully to avoid bending, denting, or crushing the metal." I'd also recommend that you use gloves or a clean rag when you handle them to avoid fingerprints from the start.

"Keep away from direct sunlight." This is important with any print or artwork.

"Surface can be cleaned with NON-ammonia based window cleaner or water." I find that water works just fine.

Finally, the hanger included on the back is very smart. I recommend using TWO nails to take advantage of its best feature. You'll understand when you examine it. Measure the distance between the two outside hanging slots and set your two nails that distance apart. Use a level to make sure they're horizontal, and your print will always hang straight. (I recommend two nails for any sort of hanger for the same reason: always straight).

Happy Holidays everybody!

The Metal Prints for the Dragon's Hoard
over 1 year ago – Sun, Nov 20, 2022 at 04:34:17 AM

Hello, Horde! I am down to the last, most complicated orders, which is a huge relief. You will be getting your rewards soon. I wanted to reiterate that the Metal Prints will ship separately from the rest of your goodies, coming directly from the printer. "But what about my number and signature?" you may be asking. I struggled to find pens that would write on the metal and were reliable. Ultimately, the printer suggested the perfect solution: I hand wrote every number and signature for this edition of 60 prints (as determined by Kickstarter sales), and added each to a unique separate file. Every signature is mine, every number written by me. They're at the printer's now, and will ship as soon as they're completed.

Thank you for being super-backers!
