Here's what's up:

Hey, everybody. Thanks again for your patience. I will be sending out surveys very very soon. My intention is to settle the easy groups first: those who bought just a book with no add-ons. While I work on those, I'm finalizing the files for the sketch books (those will be printed in America), and prepping for the other add-ons.     Everything will go out in tier groups, more or less. That means that those of you who spent the most will wait the longest in all probability. Sorry! Not sorry. I'm doing this mostly single-handedly, so I'ma bef your patience a little longer still.

They're coming!

Out of limbo, but still bent over backwards...

Hey, everybody!

This is a battle of inches, apparently. I'm finishing up the sketchbooks and putting the print shop back together so that I can fulfill every aspect of your orders. I will send out the surveys soon, and then you'll have an opportunity to change your addresses and modify your orders. I know it has been a long haul, but please stand by just a little longer...

OUT OF LIMBO!

A Sea of Books
In their bumper-boxes. Standard on the left, Special Edition on the right.

My babies have come home at last! Hip hip hooray! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Bibbety-bobbity-boo!

There are things I have to do before I'm ready to send out the surveys, let alone fulfill orders, so please stand by just a little longer. But when you receive your survey, you can change your delivery address, if you've moved in the last couple years. There will be opportunity to select from add-ons like the Sketch Books, remarques, additional copies, or prints. I'll be better able to communicate with all of you.

This has been a bonkers year. Last fall, we tangled with identity thieves. I caught them almost immediately  when they tried to steal my phone number—but there has been fall-out. It's whack-a-mole. I shuttered my website and shut down payments to protect my buyers from chicanery. I'm switching to new computers that can handle the needs of the modern internet. That's a work in progress. I'll need all new software.

And through all of it I was focused almost entirely on finishing the second novel of The Evertide series.

I've been operating for the last six (seven?) months on a new laptop, so that I could handle online things but continue writing. I finished the novel a couple of weeks ago and sent it out to beta readers.

With my wife away visiting her brother, I suddenly found myself in a strange limbo.

My writing was on hold. My computer situation was held up by hardware issues. My drawing board is surrounded by the clutter. I'd already prepped the garage for the books. And my wife was gone. Everything in my life was in limbo at once, including FOUND WORLDS.

I had five days off with no demands. FIVE WHOLE DAYS! I watched a ton of Guy Fieri.

But today, the books arrived at long last. Though I'm not back up to speed in the studio, I'm getting there. And feedback on the novel is trickling in. I'm coming out of limbo by degrees.

Most strange how everything took a breath at once… and now everything is gearing up to go again. Go go go.

Almost there…

ON THE BOAT!

The books are shipping at last. I should have them in my hands within a month. Thanks to everyone for their patience. The end is in sight...

One step closer

The advance copies have been signed and returned to okay the shipment! Soon there will be books...

I have to admit that shipping costs to get them across the ocean are terrifying me. They've more than doubled in the last year. But hang in there a little longer. The end is in sight.

Thanks to everybody for your patience!
